Eavestrough Warranty

SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. hereby warrants against eavestrough containing material and workmanship defects.

The period of the warranty on material is 10 years beginning on the date application of eavestrough to your property was completed. The period of the warranty on workmanship is 5 years beginning on the date application of eavestrough to your property was completed.

Alu-Rex products (M5200, M5300, and M5800, DOUBLE PRO) are subject to the terms of the Alu-Rex Limited Warranty.

If, under proper notification and inspection, SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. determines that your eavestrough contains material defects falling within the terms of this warranty, SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. at its sole option will repair or replace the defective material on approval of the supplier. Material defects include peeling, blistering, or flaking.

If, under proper notification and inspection, SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. determines that your eavestrough contains workmanship defects falling within the terms of this warranty, SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. at its sole option will repair or replace the defective material. On a shingled roof, only Alu-rex T-Rex and Double Pro is warrantied against snow & ice damage. On a metal roof, only steel is warranted against snow & ice damage for a period of 10 years.

At the sole discretion of SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC., ice stops may also be required on a steel roof. Workmanship defects include leaking corners, leaking end caps, any downspout that comes loose from the eavestrough, pipe straps that have detached from the house, leaking outlets, and any leaf guard that has come loose from the home. Moving parts (flip-up extensions, y-diverters) are warrantied for a period of 2 years.

Warranty claims received after the specified warranty period shall be invalid and SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. will not be held liable or responsible for any associated costs and/or damages incurred. Discontinued colors, profiles and/or products no longer available will be replaced with a comparable product determined by SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC.

SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. shall not be liable for damage due to any causes other than material or installation defects. Fire, lightning, windstorm, snow (ice/snow buildup on aluminum eavestrough without continuous hanger, which can damage gutter structure), wind and/or wind propelled items or other acts of God, eavestrough coming away from the home due to loose fascia boards, leaking behind the eavestrough due to deteriorating shingles or improper overhang of shingles, downspout seams popping due to ice build up, damage to aluminum due to salt or other chemical application, pollution, structural defects, damages caused by other individuals, misuse or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance (regular cleaning), are not covered within the terms of this warranty.

Warranty shall be null and void if for any reason full payment within SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. terms are not made within the payment terms and policies of SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC.. If, at a later date, payment is restituted, the five year warranty will continue from original date of installation only.

Alternate repair and/or work to SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. product without written consent from SEAMLESS EAVESTROUGH MANUFACTURING (SAULT STE MARIE) INC. will hereby void the terms of your workmanship warranty.
